Hi there, just wanted to share my experience today, I had a plumbing issue in my home and called perfection, Tom arrived within 30 minutes of my call, fixed our issue promptly. The after hours callout fee + service charge was considerably cheaper then we had anticipated. I would highly reccomend perfection to anyone. Tom was phenomenal and super personable, huge props to him. Thanks again!

Tryf Karys saved my day! This was a few months ago, I had to fly out that day and I really needed the sink replaced and I wasn't sure it could be done because of the countertop condition. I was really going to be stuck if he couldn't fix it. He was brilliant! Got to work fast and the job was complete in about an hour. I was sooo grateful. I would highly recommend this guy Tryf and no that's not a typo.

Q: How do I prevent my pipes from freezing?

A:

Preventing Frozen Pipes Your pipes may freeze for a number of reasons. They may be poorly insulated, exposed to icy drafts or located inside cupboards where they are isolated from the warm air inside your home. To ensure water is able to flow freely throughout your pipes in winter, consider these simple preventive measures. -Insulate Your Pipes -Keep Your Home Warm -Check Your Pipes Regularly -Have a faucet dribble water out (moving water is harder to freeze)

Q: What size water heater do I need?

A:

To properly assess what size of water heater you need, it’s important to look at the unit’s first hour rating (FHR), which is the amount of hot water that a water heater can continuously provide per hour before the tank runs empty. You then need to factor in how many people are living in the home. On average 12 gallons of hot water is used per person per day so if there is 4 people in the home, you would multiply the 12 gallons by the 4 people which would equate to 48 gallons per day usage. *This is just a quick calculation to give you an idea of hot water consumption in the home.

Q: How much does a 24 hour plumber cost?

A:

We don’t work off of an hourly rate for our plumbing services. We use Up Front pricing so that you know what the cost of repair or replacement is before any work starts. We do have a few drain cleaning tasks that are billed by the hour...they start at $89. Our service rates are the same 24 hours a day for our service plan members. We do have a premium service fee for any work completed after hours.

Q: What kinds of things can be done to stop getting a very rotten, sewer like smell from coming out of my kitchen drain?

A:

If its just a kitchen sink and there is no garburator than it could possibly be a plugged vent or a build up of organic matter in your drain line. You could try filling the sink up 1/3 of the way with hot water, adding a cup of vinegar and 1/2 a cup of baking soda and letting that drain out or we do have an environment-friendly drain opener that can clean your drains up like new.

Q: How much is the daily maintenance of a water heater?

A:

It depends on the type of water heater you have. On-demand tankless water heaters take more time to perform maintenance on compared to the tank type water heater. We have a service fee of $89 to come to your home and once we see the appliance, we will provide an upfront price that you agree to before any work begins.
